Gracie Vanthuyne

Gracie grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and has been dancing and performing for as long as she can remember. Since the age of 3 she has been studying and performing in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip-Hop. She danced competitively all throughout her childhood. Gracie's passion for dance grew and she began expanding her skills into musical theatre. She toured and performed with Saskexpress before moving to Victoria to pursue post-secondary training in performing arts. She studied at CCPA, where she gained her diploma in performing arts. She has performed in countless musicals and plays but her favourites have been Janet in the Drowsy Chaperone and Serena in Legally Blonde. She now spends much of her time choreographing for musicals. Most recent choreography credits include Grease, Newsies (Triple Threat Performers) Hadestown: Teen Edition (Kaleidoscope), and Assistant Choreographer for The Lightning Thief, Cinderella (CCPA). Gracie adores sharing her passion for musical theatre with up and coming performers. She loves challenging her students and helping them grow their confidence. She is very excited and grateful to be a part of the Sea Star team!
